In November 2024, student Hannah Abbott organized a district-wide clothing drive, collecting dozens of boxes of clothes to give back to her community. To ensure the donations directly benefited local families, she partnered with Monica Hullinger of the Nebo School District's donation center, which supports people in need within the district.

At the request of our administration, we created short videos to highlight each teacher’s program. We collaborated with every ALC teacher to record and edit these videos, showcasing their unique offerings.
Student team: Rosaline Smith
Many of our students are unsure about their future career paths or interested in exploring multiple fields. We strive to provide opportunities for students to try out different areas of interest during class, helping them discover their passions.
Rosaline Smith wanted to explore film making. She spent a month in class writing a script, filmed, and edited a short film called "What's in the woods."
Alex Brisco was interested in music production. He wrote, performed, and produced his debut album in our class. Listen on Spotify or wherever you stream music now!
Gavin Stewart used his time in Caps to work on expanding his business, Flex Landscaping LLC. In class Gavin designed his website, cold called clients, and hired employees. His hard work paid off as he won the Nebo Invest Nest and took second at the state contest winning a total of $17,500 to grow his business.
