We do occasionally have projects that extend beyond the scope of the classroom and offer students more of an internship experience.
In the summer of 2024 students Abby Peay and Ella Chilton did an internship with a non-profit called Playon. This is a summer program aiming to get young elementary school kids off their phones. Abby and Ella did social media and PR work for them.
During the 2024-2025 school year Ella Chilton worked with a business leader who was looking for a part time employee to do eCommerce work for clients. Through this internship Ella learned how to set up and manage professional Amazon pages for a variety of different products.
In spring of 2025 students Ally Arnold, Bri Bagley, and Haylee Lambert got the opportunity to assist in some lab work for the company Pure Earth Labs. They spent 4 weeks at their lab learning how to create various skin products.
In the summer of 2025 Bri Bagley did an internship with Payson City. She helped with various PR, social media, and event planning for the city.
